Model Forging Press from Lamberton's Engineering, Coatbridge.

A former Lamberton employee has kindly provided the following explanation of this model: "It is in fact a model of a Lamberton vertical forging press. Lamberton built many of these and horizontal presses. I myself worked on the fitting and assembly of them. Most of these presses were built for the motor industry including the Ford Car Company."

The photo shown has been given the wrong description. It is in fact a model of a Lamberton verticle forging press. Lamberton built many of these and horizontal presses. I myself worked on the fitting and assembly of them. Most of these presses were built for the motor industria including the Ford Car Company.
