The Modern Physician: Volumes I-V, 1905

This 1905 5 volume set of The Modern Physician is edited by Dr Andrew Wilson. The volumes are bound in a dark green cover with the title engraved in gold surrounded by a boarder of two snakes and wings relating to the Greek caduceus symbol that is commonly used as a medical symbol. The books contain illustrations, diagrams, photographs and descriptions of the “causes, symptoms, and cures of diseases and ailments”.
