Sanatogen Tonic Water Tin

The empty Tin is for Sanatogen tonic water; a nerve/food tonic used in the early 1900s as a restorative for the nervous system. Sanatogen was advertised as a concentrated nutrient with tonic properties. The active ingredients in Sanatogen were pure milk protein and sodium glyserophosohate. It is very easily digested and absorbed, it is recommended as an effective means of reinforcing the daily diet of anaemic and convalescent patients, including children, and in cases of weakness and exhaustion from overwork or illness.
