Chloroform Bottle

A bottle that used to contain chloroform. The bottle is made of orange-coloured glass, moulded with ridges for a more secure grip. The label is a reddish colour, with black lettering describing the contents. The label assures of purity and stability, but also gives caution, as it is marked 'poison'. It is identified as a product of J. MacFarlan and Co. in Edinburgh, though it seems to have been sold by Cockburn and Co., Glasgow.
