Plaque from Triumphal Arch, 1953

Following her coronation in 1953 Queen Elizabeth II toured the nation. In Motherwell the royal party was met with a triumphal arch made by the Motherwell Bridge Engineering Company.

This plaque was attached to the arch. It is made of black metal printed with gold lettering.
