Etna Iron & Steel Co Ashtray

The Etna Iron and Steel Company took over the Brandon Works in Motherwell in 1887. They made malleable iron and steel components such as bars and angles. A speciality was components for railway wagons. They became part of the Colvilles empire in 1954.

I worked In the etna in the rolling mill 18 year old most antiquated mill in Britain.
