Coatbridge Sunnyside Station, around 1900

This view looking west towards Coatbridge Sunnyside railway station shows Lamberton's engineering works on the right. Where the station car park now is we can see a railway yard and, beyond, the station-master's house. The station's booking office straddles the tracks alongside Gartsherrie Road. The tall chimney towards the left belongs to the Summerlee Iron Works.
