The Phoenix and Clifton Ironworks, Coatbridge, around 1900

This picture postcard (posted in 1907) shows two of Coatbridge's malleable ironworks. Their location by a road bridge on the north bank of the Monkland Canal made these works a popular view of Coatbridge's famous heavy industries.
