Dressing Castings at Coltness Iron Works, early 1900s

These men are cleaning-up newly-cast large iron wheels by removing extraneous pieces of iron. The castings (probably for locomotives) were made in sand moulds contained in the large iron casting boxes you can see stacked-up at the rop-right of the picture.
