Brochure for the AB Fifteen Coal Cutter, mid-1900s

The mining machinery firm of Anderson Boyes and Co was founded in Flemington near Motherwell in 1899. The company merged with the Glasgow firm Mavor and Coulson in 1966 under the name Anderson Mavor before changing its name to Anderson Strathclyde in 1974.
