German Wax Model of the Dissected Head, around 1910

Used by John Murray in his dental practice in Cardonald. The dentist used a poem whilst demonstrating the model, which included the following phrase: 'The lingual nerve, it took a swerve around the hyoglossus. "Well I'll be f****d" said Wharton's duct. "The b****r's double crossed us!"'
