Worn by William Murray, whose arm was amputated when he developed gangrene after falling from a tree, aged 13.

Following the incident Murray received 100 stiches at the Royal Infirmary hospital in Glasgow and took a year to recuperate. Received the false arm three yrs later. Born in Ballieston and lived in Coatbridge after he was married. Lived an active life and worked with disabled children, taking them swimming.
