Hair Restorer, 1900s

Medicine bottle with Corporation of Glasgow Public Health Department moulded into the glass. Labels on the front indicate that it contained hair restorer prescribed by Shieldhall Fever Hospital. The bottle and label are clearly from the hospital, but 'hair restorer' is handwritten, so this is possibly an example of quack medicine sold on an unofficial basis.
