Order of the Eastern Star Apron, Chapelhall, around 1925

Ceremonial apron worn by a Chapelhall member of the temperance society. The main lambskin panel represents the purity and innocence of the lamb, while the five-pointed star symbol of the Order of the Eastern Star is displayed in the two lower corners. Above, the letter G surrounded by compass and square is held to be representative of geometry and God, the Masonic Grand Architect of the Universe.
