Clyde Tube Works Price List, 1888

Andrew Stewart started making iron tubes in Glasgow before partnering with his brother James and founding the Clyde Tube Works in Coatbridge. The firm grew through a series of mergers, eventually joining with the English firm Lloyd & Lloyd Ltd in 1903 to form Stewarts & Lloyds, the UK's biggest manufacturer of steel tubes.

This price list is in French, showing that even by 1888 the company was exporting tubes. The last page gives a view of the Clyde Tube Works with the Monkland Canal in the foreground.
