A Rolling Mill in Coatbridge by Unknown Artist, 1920

This scene inside one of Coatbridge's last surviving malleable ironworks shows a rolling mill for making iron plate. The Waverley Works kept going until 1967, when the linked Gartsherrie Iron Works and Northburn Steel Works shut down.
