Breathing Apparatus Container

A simple metal box, painted green, closed with metal clasps and with a leather carrying handle. Black and white lettering describes the original contents - an air hose breathing apparatus. With the limited air supply in mines, and the danger of poisonous gas, breathing apparatus was essential for miners and rescue workers.
