The Rankin Family by John Levack (1828-1874), 1853

Oil painting depicting the Rankin Family, probably on the Auchengray Estate, which belonged to Patrick Rankin (1790-late 1860s). The Rankins were prominent in Airdrie life from the later 18th century and through most of the 1800s and were also related through marriage to many of the leading families in New Monkland.
