Dreft Soap Powder, 1960s

Introduced by Proctor & Gamble in the 1930s, Dreft was one of the first synthetic soap powders on the market and was less harsh than the stronger soaps of the day. As a result it was marketed toward cleaning more delicate clothing such as underwear, wool, and baby clothes.
