Ancient Order of Foresters Sash, 1800s

This sash was worn by a member of the Drumpellier Olive Lodge of the Ancient Order of Foresters. a friendly society. The society was formed in 1834 and is still in existence today. The sash is green, with the order's coat of arms and motto ('Unity, Benevolence, and Concord').
