Lithuanian National Dress, Bellshill, 1950s

Female national costume, known as the Tautiski Draabuzai, made by second generation Lithuanian Scot Agnes James (nee Davidson). The costume was worn by all members of the St Cecilia Choir in Bellshill, which played an important part in keeping alive Lithuanian cultural traditions in Lanarkshire.
