Independent Order of Mechanics Friendly Society Banner, 1873

A dark blue silk banner with red, white and blue fringes. It is covered with hand-painted society symbols and mottoes, with the Star of Hope as the centrepiece. This banner was used at the society's annual parade through the streets of Airdrie.
