Earthenware wine jug, believed to be part of a collection of Graeco-Phoenician culture artefacts originally displayed in Airdrie Museum.

See the 1927 Airdrie Museum Guide. Other items in the box appear to be of Roman origin. This jug is similar to wine jugs called oichonoe. Seen by the recorder Allan MacKenzie in the Ancient Greek collections of many museums. May be Bronze Age.
