Oil portrait of Sir Charles Edmonstone, 2nd Baronet (1764-1821) and 12th of Dunreath. Colzium was acquired from Daniel Campbell of Shawfield's grandson by Sir Archibald Edmonstone of Duntreath around 1782. Colzium House was build as the Edmonstone's primary residence in 1783 and was extended in 1861. The Edmonstone family began to sell the estate in lots after the First World War.
