Fisher Girl by John McGhie (1867-1952), date unknown

Oil painting by John McGhie, who was born in Lesmahagow but later lived in the fishing village of Pittenweem. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art, Royal Academy School in London and Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. This painting is part of the David Muir Foundation bequest to the people of Kilsyth.
