Winter Sunshine by RW Allan (1851-1942), date unknown

Oil on canvas by Glasgow-born artist Robert Weir Allan, RSA, RWS, RSW (1851-1942). Allan studied under JP Laurens at the Academie Julian in Paris and frequently sketched on the continent. He later toured India and Japan. This painting is part of the David Muir Foundation bequest to the people of Kilsyth.
