Having been born and raised in Kilsyth and having attended The Glasgow School of Art,I am saddened that I did not meet Mr. Gibson or become acquainted with his work until now. His paintings are so beautifully executed with a wonderful, loose descriptive style, giving us an honest insight into life in Kilsyth as it was long ago.
