Lockie's Improved Drawing Scales

A complete set of eight drawing scales. These would have been a vital piece of an engineer or architect’s drawing kit in order to accurately produce drawings to scale. This example features measurements in inches to the foot and includes sixteen scales over eight cards, from full size to 1/10th of an inch to the foot. It likely dates from 1920 to 1930 and was produced by an Edinburgh company, Mackenzie and Storrie Ltd.
