Dental Equipment, 1920s

Dentist's chair, anaesthetic machine and spitoon used at a dental practice in Dunoon. The anaesthetic machine administered nitrous oxide as a painkiller during treatment. Patients also received oxygen, as nitrous oxide alone can cause suffocation.
