Lithuanian Plaque, around 1990

This plaque combines the national flag colours and state flag emblem. The tail of the knight’s horse sweeps downwards, denoting Soviet rule. Yellow signifies the sun and prosperity; green represents the forests, countryside, liberty and hope; and red symbolises the blood and bravery of those who died for Lithuania.
