Glasgow Corporation Tramcar No.1017, 1904

This single-decker tram has had an eventful life. The tram body was brought to Summerlee from Cambuslang where it had been used as a garden shed.

Originally a Paisley District Tramways Company double-decker tram No.17, the tramcar was bought by Glasgow Corporation in 1923, cut down to a single-decker and re-numbered 1017.
