35mm Projector Equipment, around 1946

Western Electric projectors like this one were popular from the 1930s but continued to be used in cinemas even after the 1970s. Projection boxes always had two projectors so that the 35mm spools (traditionally 20 minutes) could be switched over without causing a break in the film.
