Sections of Last Tubes Rolled at Clydesdale Works, 1991

The Clydesdale Tube Works in Mossend near Bellshill was one of the biggest steel producers in Scotland. The closure of the Clydesdale Works and Ravenscraig together led to 3,000 direct redundancies but an estimated 10,000 additional jobs were lost in related businesses.
